By practising meditation or quieting the mind can have a positive impact on your health and life. All you have to do is try.

The average person is living with a tremendous amount of stress in their daily life. It is not difficult to believe that over time, stress will harm your health.
Mediate It Might save your life
You might be thinking - I know this, it's life in the modern-day, you aren't telling me anything I don't know.
Well, that might be true however knowing, it doesn't make it better. The fact of the matter is knowing and trying to do something that may seem odd, hippie-like or new age may save your life!
Just try this for a few minutes

If you take a moment and close your eyes and relax your shoulders and slowly breathe in through your nose, and exhale slowly out your mouth. And repeat it six times chances, are you are a bit calmer and; your blood pressure is lower.
Now, did you notice anything? How about how tense your body is - perhaps you hold your tension in your neck and shoulders or your hands. In those few moments, you were a bit more relaxed.
This 'in the moment' exercise is just that, an exercise. However, if you were in a quiet place, phones off and electronics off, no restricting clothing or shoes, and sat comfortably and did some slow breathing exercises, you would see the benefits and, so would, your body, including your kidneys!
